-Galatians 6:8
Have you ever stopped for a moment and asked why some of the things in your life are happening? Now I know that some circumstance are beyond your control and are acts of divine intervention, trials and tribulations, and demonic oppression.
However there is another element that most people fail to see, and that is themselves. We are quick to blame others, or the Devil although I wonder if you are truly that special to the Devil that he takes the time out of his limited time here on earth to attack you. I hear it a lot nowadays, the famous phrase "The devil attacked me, or the devil made me do it"
Okay I understand that we are in spiritual warfare and there are tons and tons of demonic spirits everywhere but lately in my life I came to conclusions. God is one Mastermind that is all knowing, He is detailed oriented, He sees the small things and the big picture. He knows your heart, your mind and every idle word you speak.
There are some Christians I have been around that find it so easy to bash others whether it is to their face or behind their back. Gossip is second nature, slander, name calling and so on. When we give into these things it sows fleshy seed that will continue an endless cycle of sin. Some people's excuses are: "No on is perfect"
Well that is true, but it is not an excuse to sin. We aren't to use God's grace to freely do what we want, in fact if you ponder on His grace and love fearing Him in reverence it would drive you to your knees seeking His strength to live an obedient life.
A lot of problems in our lives is always boiled down to the choices we make in the past. God forgives us in our repentence but we still reap what we sow, He wants us to learn.
"For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief."
-Proverbs 24:16
So if you fall get up and learn from it. Seek God's wisdom and strength.
Here are some things you can do to sow good seed, sow to the Spirit:
- Read your Bible, in a deep study relying on the Holy Spirit, use concordance, commentary, lexicon, take notes, reflect on the scripture
- Share what God shows you with others
- Reflect on God's love, grace, mercy, forgiveness, peace that surpasses all understanding
- Rejoice in the Lord and thank Him
- Praise the Lord
- Work as unto the Lord
- Disciple others
- Tithe your gross and give to something to further promote God's Kingdom
- Share the Gospel
- Pray, in a deep heartfelt prayer, the kind that says "God I am not moving till you show me something"
- Pray for Wisdom, Discernment, more Faith, the fruits of the Spirit
- Forgive others
1. Too much time on something you know is not pleasing God
2. Gossip
3. Anger for the wrong reasons
4. Your heart and thought life

6. Not tithing (I can share a personal testimony on that in a future note)
7.Unforgiveness

9. Not sharing the Gospel
10. Not praying
11. Not giving of yourself

Choose this day whom you will serve :)
